The Founder

Founder-CEO and Australian native Vanessa Terry has 20 years' creative experience based in Japan. There her work in photography and design became richly informed by her innate passions for feeding both mind and body while deepening every opportunity to interact with the natural environment.
As a natural creator who loves to inspire and help others create, Vanessa's unique appreciation for skincare and bringing Japanese aesthetics to the wider world instils every facet of Ad Astra V’s founding principles.

Uniting her fortunate ability to work with leading experts in both the design and skincare world, her work over these last seven years has helped her to focus and realise her dream personal project: creating a new skincare line from her seminal experiences with her own skin.
Vanessa's life experience is thus imbued in the Yuzen skincare range, inspired by her revelations of the unique synergies of high quality active topical treatments, herbal medicine, relaxation techniques and nutritious diet, revealing and drawing energy from the close connectedness of mind, body and skin.
